Additional Visit Opportunities:

  • Overnight Visit Option
Would you like to truly experience what it’s like to live and learn at Otterbein? Do you want to know what a typical night is really like for an Otterbein student living on campus? At Otterbein, we make this unique experience available through our Overnight Visit option.

We invite any high school senior who has been accepted to the university, or has already confirmed his/her intent to enroll, to schedule an overnight visit with one of our current Student Hosts. Scheduling a visit is easy and can be done in a matter of minutes! However, we do ask that you schedule your visit at least two weeks in advance so that we can have plenty of time to find the perfect Student Host for you.

In order to help you and your family plan your visit to Otterbein, please refer to the dates listed below for the Overnight Visit options available for the current academic year:
    • February 3rd- 4th, 2013

  • Student for a Day Shadow Program
How does an Otterbein student spend a typical day on campus? Would you like to join a current Otterbein student as he/she goes about a typical day on campus? At Otterbein, we make this exciting opportunity possible through our Student for a Day Shadow Program.

We invite any high school senior who has applied for admission, has been accepted to the university, or has already confirmed his/her intent to enroll, to schedule a day to shadow one of our Cardinal Hosts. Visiting high school seniors will be paired with a Cardinal Host and will be granted all access to a day in the life of an Otterbein student.

While we try to pair high school seniors with Cardinal Hosts who have similar interests, we cannot always guarantee that an exact match will be made. The Student for a Day program is less about specifics and more about the sum of all the factors that make up a typical day at Otterbein. We want you to experience campus the same way our student’s do, by becoming an active member of the Otterbein community.

The Student for a Day Shadow Program is available Monday-Friday during the months of November, February, March, and April during the academic year. We ask that you schedule your visit through the Undergraduate Admissions Office at least 2 weeks prior to your preferred visit date to ensure availability and an adequate amount of time for host matching.

To learn more about how to schedule a visit through the Student for a Day program, or to answer any questions you may have regarding this visit option, please contact Undergraduate Admissions at 614.823.1500 during regular business hours, (Monday- Friday, 8:30AM- 5:00PM).
