Common Hours

Common Hours are held periodically throughout the academic year, and in response to faculty requests, the CTL will provide or sponsor Common Hour sessions on topics related to teaching and learning.

Examples of past years' topics include teaching philosophy statements, classroom assessment techniques, using student evaluation feedback for teaching development and improvement, classroom respect/civility, classroom and online technologies, professional portfolio development for pre-tenure faculty members. To suggest topics for future programming, contact the CTL (CTL@otterbein.edu).
