Join us for Flute Choir Day!
We are pleased to announce the 3rd annual Flute Choir Day on Saturday, March 2, 2013 - 8 a.m.- 6 p.m. This event is hosted by the Otterbein University bands and Dr. Kimberlee Goodman, professor of flute studies.
What is Flute Choir Day?
Flute Choir Day is an opportunity for high school students and advanced middle school students to share their love of playing the flute. Sessions will be geared to students of all levels.
All events will take place in the Battelle Fine Arts Center on Otterbein's campus (170 W. Park Street, Westerville, OH 43081 - free parking). A detailed schedule including room numbers and session titles will be handed out at the event. The 5 p.m. concert will take place in Riley Auditorium inside Battelle.

8:30 AM - Registration Opens - Battelle Fine Arts Center – Lobby
9:00 AM - Welcome, Initial Run Through of Flute Choir Music – Riley
10:00 AM - Morning Break
10:15 AM - Masterclass with Kimberlee Goodman
11:30 AM - Lunch (cost of lunch covered in registration)
12:30 PM - Special Session with Dr. Margaret Underwood, "Creating Music For a Lifetime"
1:30 PM - Full Rehearsal – Riley
2:30 PM - Sectionals
2:45 PM - Music and Movement Class
3:30 PM - Full Rehearsal – Riley
4:30 PM - Get Ready for Concert (concert attire is your flute choir day t-shirt and your choice of jeans, skirt, etc)
5:00 PM - Flute Choir Concert – FREE to the public! – Riley
