Dunlap-King (DK) is the oldest residence hall on campus. It houses 96 first year and upperclass students including four Resident Assistants. Four triple rooms for women are located on the third floor and all other rooms are doubles. DK features a TV lounge, computer lab, and a full kitchen on the ground floor.
Dunlap King Hall has a theme of Arts Appreciation and has two floors reserved for Open Space DK. Students choosing to live here should be interested in the arts but are not required to be art, music, or theatre majors. Open Space DK welcomes students of all genders and sexualities interested in living in a safe, supportive environment.
Please note that these are samples of typical floor plans and furniture arrangements in this residence hall. Actual measurements and arrangements may differ.
Furniture in DK consists of a loftable bed (all pieces provided to loft bed, may also be bunked with roommate), desk with mobile pedestal, desk chair, dresser and wardrobe. Students may place their desk and dresser under their lofted bed for the most floor space.
