  • National Health Service Corps Loan Repayment Program
    Provides for the repayment of educational loans for NP students made in exchange for a commitment to work in a medically underserved area.
  • National Health Service Corps Scholarship Program
    Provides scholarship and stipend for NP students, work in NHSC site for specified period of time after graduation.

  • Ohio Association of Advanced Practice Nurses
    Offers FNP scholarships. Must be currently enrolled in FNP or DNP program with 12 hrs of course work already completed.
  • Nurse Practitioner Health Care Foundation (NPHF)
    Offers scholarships and awards.
  • American Cancer Society
    The American Cancer Society offers scholarships to support the training of advanced practice nurses, specializing in cancer and DNPs ranging from $10,000 to $15,000 per year.

  • Health Resources and Service Administration
    Health professions faculty from disadvantaged backgrounds can receive up to a maximum of $40,000 towards repayment of their student loans in exchange for educating tomorrow's clinicians.
