Moment of Silence for Sandy Hook

Dec 20, 2012

Last Friday, our nation experienced one of its worst national tragedies at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut. It touched all of us deeply.

Tomorrow morning, December 21, at 9:30 am, one week after this heartbreaking event, we ask you to join Otterbein University, the City of Westerville first responders, community members, and Pastor Todd Anderson in front of Towers Hall for a moment of silence as the bells ring in memory of the twenty-six little children, teachers, and staff members who lost their lives.

Several Governors across the nation including the Governor of Connecticut have scheduled a moment of silence at this time as well. It is open to all friends of Otterbein and the general public. If you will not be on campus at this time, please join us in thought and spirit.
