Specializations: Graphic Narrative, Women's Literatures, Critical Feminist Theories, Global Studies, and Critical Pedagogy.
Scholarship: Author of “Becoming Cosmopolitan: Toward a Critical Cosmopolitan Pedagogy” [dissertation] and numerous papers on Critical Cosmopolitanism.
Recent or new topical courses: "Graphic Narrative," "Global Citizenship," and "Feminine Pathologies," “Experimental Women Writers,” “Feminist Theories”
Senior project interests: I like any project that is experimental in form or content. I like projects that are hybrid or interdisciplinary. I like projects that sit at the intersection of English and Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies. I like any project that creates or critiques graphic narrative. I like projects that foreground critical theory or cultural studies. I also like projects that feel a little too ambitious.
