Gifts of Cash
Contribute to the Otterbein University Annual Fund online or by sending a check to Otterbein University, Office of Institutional Advancement, 1 South Grove Street, Westerville, OH 43081. Your gift is tax deductible if you itemize deductions on your federal income tax form. Gifts of Stock
A gift of securities offers a number of advantages to the donor. Transferring stock to Otterbein allows donors to contribute to the future success of the University while enjoying different benefits. Donations to Otterbein qualify as a charitable deduction to your income tax. There is no capital gains tax on the appreciated securities or mutual fund shares that you donate. Planned Gifts

Scholarships and Other Endowments

Memorial Gifts
Memorial gifts honor and remember a loved one, while also furthering the work of Otterbein University. Gifts to Otterbein University are a thoughtful way to remember loved ones.
For families who have chosen to request donations to the college in the name of their loved one, wording in the obituary such as this can suggest the option: "In lieu of flowers, gifts may be made to Otterbein University. Checks should be mailed to Otterbein University, Office of Institutional Advancement, 1 South Grove Street, Westerville, OH 43081."
Reunion Gifts
Many alumni choose to make special gifts to Otterbein during their Legacy years, the five years leading up to, and including, their 50th Reunion. All contributions given to Otterbein University in the five years leading up to your 50th reunion will be counted collectively toward your Class Legacy gift. You may donate online with a credit card, or you may want to speak with us about setting up a different type of gift.
Student Gifts
Gifts of any amount from students make a difference—whether in renovating buildings, supporting campus activities or providing a great educational experience for all students. Consider that if every student gave $5 it could provide over $14,000 for student scholarships. Learn more.
