Otterbein Film Series Presents Two Screenings

The Otterbein University film series Films Without Borders will host two screenings in October and November. Both screenings are free and open to the public.

Films Without Borders will screen Miss Evers’ Boys (1997) at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 16, in room 112 of Towers Hall, 1 S. Grove St. Grove St. Miss Evers’ Boys is the true account of a group of African American men who were subjects of a government medical study that began in 1932 in Macon County, Alabama.

The Mexican thriller, Sleep Dealer (2008), will be presented at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 13, in room 112 of Towers Hall, 1 S. Grove St. Set in a near-future, militarized world marked by closed borders, virtual labor and a global digital network that joins minds and experiences, three strangers risk their lives to connect with each other and break the barriers of technology.
