History of the Underground Railroad, Feb. 10

Discover Ohio's part in the Underground Railroad right in your backyard on Sunday, Feb. 10 at 2 p.m. in Riley Auditorium (Battelle Fine Arts Center). 

Join Cathy D. Nelson, of the Ohio Humanities Council, as she presents on the History of the Underground Railroad. Cathy Nelson is the Founder/President Emeritus of the Friends of the Freedom Society and is an expert on the Underground Railroad. She has been speaking about and raising awareness of the bravery of fugitive slaves on the Underground Railroad for more than 20 years.

Free tours of the Hanby House will be provided after the presentation. Refreshments will be served and all are welcome. Sponsored by the Friends of the Library. Suggested donation to the Friends, $10; students FREE!
