The Otterbein University volleyball program recently returned from a memorable 10-day trip to Costa Rica, where the team faced off against local competition, volunteered at clinics and enjoyed some vacation time.
Fifteen players and a handful of coaches took part in the journey, which spanned from May 23 to June 1 and began in San Jose.
"This trip was an amazing experience for our program," head coach Monica McDonald said. "I think everyone really embraced the Costa Rican culture and helped represent Otterbein well. We had a nice blend of competing, enjoying some vacation time and also giving back to the local community."
