Otterbein Hosts College Fair for Latin/Hispanic Students

Westerville, OH—Otterbein University will host the Educators and Community Helping Hispanics Onward (ECHHO) College Fair for central Ohio high school students of Latin/Hispanic heritage at 9 a.m.-1:30 p.m. on Monday, March 5, at the Campus Center, 100 W. Home St.
More than 100 students are expected to attend the event to learn more about college access from Ohio public and private colleges and universities and scholarship opportunities from ECHHO. Local community organizations and businesses who are members of ECHHO will also attend.
ECHHO is fully committed to working in coordinated efforts with parents, high school and vocational center counselors, administrators, social service representatives and other post-secondary institutions and community organizations to address the need for Hispanics in the state of Ohio and surrounding states to further their education. Through these coordinated efforts, ECHHO utilizes its resources to provide pertinent information about higher education to Hispanic students at elementary, junior high and high school levels.
