Westerville, OH— Otterbein University will present a Graduate Symposium on "The Many Faces of Social Justice" at 5:30 p.m. on April 2, in room 114 of Roush Hall, 27 S. Grove St. Refreshments will be served at 5 p.m. and a reception will follow at 6:45 p.m. The event is free and open to the public. Featured speakers will include: Scott Marier, executive director of Westerville Area Resource Ministry (WARM); Gary Katz, associate research fellow in global nutrition research and development at Abbott Nutrition; and Otterbein professors Diane Ross of the Department of Education and Marjorie Vogt, Ruth Chavez and Barb Nash of the Department of Nursing.
The Graduate School Symposium Series is offered twice each year in the spring and fall. Topics provoke new thought, stimulate engaging conversations, and promote collaborations through talks on varied topics of interest. Topic areas range from education, health care, change management, technology innovations, commerce, creative arts, and social justice.
