Otterbein University Hosts Holiday Events on Friday, Nov. 30

Westerville, OH—Otterbein University will host a sale of student art and a Christmas tree lighting and holiday dinner on Friday, Nov. 30.

Otterbein’s student-run art organization, Starving Artists, will be holding their annual holiday sale from 10 a.m.-7:30 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 30, in the Campus Center, 100 W. Home St.

Members of Starving Artists do volunteer work, such as painting murals, and come together to create and share work. The proceeds from the holiday sale will be divided between the artists and the organization to fund yearly art-based trips.

Otterbein’s Christmas tree will be lit at 5:30 p.m. on the lawn of Towers Hall, 1 S. Grove St. The tree lighting is free and open to the public. It will be followed by a dinner at 6 p.m. in the Campus Center. The dinner is open to the public and tickets cost $10 for general admission, $4 for ages 4-10 and free for age 3 or younger. A canned food drive at both the Tree Lighting and the Dinner will benefit Westerville Area Resource Ministry (WARM).
