Westerville, OH—Student athletes at Otterbein University are inviting kids to campus for an evening of fun and games at the annual Kids’ Night Out from 6-8:30 p.m. on Friday, April 26, in the Clements Recreation Center, 180 Center St. Parents are encouraged to visit Uptown Westerville’s 4th Friday Festival while the kids enjoy their own night out! The event is free and open to children in grades K-5 in the Westerville or Otterbein communities. Pre-registration is required.
Sponsored by the Otterbein University Athletic Department in conjunction with the Student Athlete Advisory Committees (SAAC), Otterbein’s student athletes will lead local children in games and activities designed for fitness and fun. Children should plan to wear clothes and shoes for running and playing. Otterbein athletic trainers will be in attendance in the event of an injury. At the end of the night, participating children are welcome to get the autographs of their favorite Otterbein athletes and Otterbein’s mascot, Cardy, will be on hand with popsicles and high fives.
