“Otterbein University welcomes adults as they look to complete their bachelor's degrees. As a small liberal arts university with just under 3000 students, Otterbein is able to give students personal assistance as they continue their educational journeys,” said Dr. Susan Millsap, interim assistant dean for academic affairs at Otterbein.
The Adult and Transfer programs are designed for adults who may be starting their degrees or picking up where they left off. Classes are also offered for those seeking additional professional development in order to advance or change careers. Military veterans are welcome through the Post 9/11 GI Bill Yellow Ribbon program.
The following majors are offered either during the day and evening: business administration, accounting and public accounting, economics, finance, human resources management, management, international business and management, marketing, communication studies, English (literary studies), psychology, teacher licensure and undergraduate degree licensure, liberal studies in accounting, liberal studies in business and liberal studies in leadership (concentrations in organizational communication and psychology of leadership). Over 73 daytime majors and 44 minors are offered.
The campus is conveniently located near the I-71 and I-270 Polaris exit. Classes are small, students receive personal attention and individual advising and the tuition is affordable.
