Spring Magazine & Writing Award Submission Deadline

Submit your best work for publication in the spring magazine and for consideration for a writing award (in fiction, nonfiction, poetry, dramatic writing, historical fiction, religious poetry, and art). We've moved the submission process to Submittable, an online management system. Haiku Death Match

Duel to the metaphorical death in this lively haiku competition … prepare ahead of time by writing at least 20 haiku (in case you go the full distance), and/or write them on the sidelines of the battle. The last poet standing goes home with a bookstore gift card, the illustrious Haiku Death Match Champion sash (which must be returned at next year's competition), and bragging rights for a year.
Writing Awards Ceremony & Spring Magazine Release

Winners of writing awards are recognized and read from their work; the spring magazine is distributed; everyone gets to eat cake.
