Battelle Fine Arts Center

The Battelle Fine Arts Center (BFAC) is the Department’s principal home and houses numerous class and rehearsal rooms, all equipped with sound and video systems, and most with computer projection equipment.

The Keyboard Lab contains twelve Yamaha digital pianos, and one instructor workstation for class piano.

The Computer Lab has twelve student Macs and one instructor computer, and is equipped with state-of-the art music software. The lab’s printer is capable of printing full-size scores.

The Electronic Music Studio contains computers, music software, synthesizers, drum machines, various sound processors and a mixing console.

Riley Auditorium is the 260-seat recital and lecture hall in the Battelle Fine Arts Center. It is equipped with a practice organ and a 7-foot Steinway grand piano.

Cowan Hall

The Fritsche Theatre at Cowan Hall is the largest performing space on campus. It seats over 1000 and is the venue for all musical theatre performances and large concerts by ensembles such as the Symphonic Band and The Westerville Symphony at Otterbein University. There is also a recording studio in Cowan Hall.
