A sniper is a marksman/gunman who shoots outside targets from concealed positions or long distances. In the event of a sniper on campus, follow these guidelines:

If you are outside and hear gun shots, immediately seek shelter inside the closest building or room.
Stay clear of all windows and doors.
Immediately notify the Otterbein University Police Department at (614) 823-1222 or call 911. Provide as much information as possible and, if safe to do so, remain on the line.
Do not leave your cover to assist the wounded.
Wait for the Otterbein University Police Department or law enforcement to escort you out.
