If you are experiencing an EMERGENCY or considering imminent or serious harm to yourself or someone else, do not fill out this appointment form. During Fall/Spring Semesters, business hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. We will respond to your request within 24 business hours. Students may also come to the Counseling Center between 3:00 pm and 4:00 pm, Monday-Friday for an urgent walk-in session. Urgent sessions are for students who are not in immediate danger, but whose symptoms and/or situations require urgent attention.
During Summer Sessions, times available for counseling appointments are: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday from 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm, and Tuesday, Friday from 9:00 am- 12 noon. Urgent walk-in sessions are Monday through Friday, 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm. Additional openings may be made available, as needed. Because we have limited administrative coverage during the summer, please call our office, rather than registering online, to schedule an appointment.
We encourage you to contact a friend, faculty, staff or family member, or the Otterbein Police (614-823-1222) to stay with you until help arrives. The EMS Professionals will determine with you the next steps to insure your safety.
