Your math placement is determined by your Math ACT or SAT sub score and your intended major (your highest score will be used). If you do not feel your test score is a reflection of your math ability, you may opt to take the online math placement exam. The online exam will be available after May 1st and must be completed two weeks prior to your orientation date. Full details about your placement level and about the exam can be found in the Placement section of your OtterBinder. Modern Language
Your Modern Language placement will be based on the number of years of high school coursework that you have completed in your language of interest. Any student that does not feel their initial placement is an accurate assessment of their abilities is encouraged to take the Modern Language exam. Please click here
