Angelo Mazzocco is a senior business management executive who has performed in a number of roles including chief executive officer/president, chief information officer, chief operating officer, corporate strategy and organizational development, operations and execution, leadership and resource alignment, and graduate school educator. He gained more than 25 years of experience providing professional services in information systems, business management, consulting, and instruction. Over that time, he served as president at Pillar Technology Group, LLC; chief information officer at Progressive Medical Inc.; vice president and chief information officer at Dispatch Printing and Broadcast companies; chief operations officer at Network Compatibility Group – CompuCom Systems; senior manager at Andersen Consulting; information systems manager at Nationwide Insurance; and systems analyst at NCR. He has also served as an adjunct instructor at Otterbein University and Ohio State University for more than 20 years.
Mr. Mazzocco is currently president of Pillar Technology, a business and technology consulting services provider. Pillar operates in six states with 150 consultants providing services to more than 20 clients including General Motors, General Electric, John Deere, Worthington Industries, Huntington Bank, Exel Logistics and The Gap. After his first year at Pillar in 2012, the company achieved Fast 50 award status as well as the INC. 5000 award, Alfred P. Sloan Award for Workplace Excellence, and an Innovation Award nomination.
Mr. Mazzocco has won numerous awards, including the TechColumbus President's Top Contributor to the Advancement of Technology (TopCAT) award, TopCAT Executive of the Year, TopCAT Large Technology Team Leader, Information Week 500 Technology Innovation Award, and Volunteer of the Year for GroundWork for exceptional leadership and personal commitment to the Central Ohio community. An active leader in Columbus, he is a member of the board of directors of GroundWork Group, Gladden Community House, and OCLC Technology Advisory Board.
