Library Story Contest

Be creative – tell your story in any way that appeals to you. Some ideas:

• Create a poem, short story, essay or play (or any type of written creative activity)
• Take a photograph, draw/paint a picture, create a 3-D object (or any type of artistic creation)
• Design a collage, create a quilt square, make a video, etc.

Prizes will be awarded.

The deadline for Submissions is April 7, 2011. The winner will be announced on Tuesday April 12 at 7:30 pm during the presentation by Marilyn Johnson, author of

The event is co-sponsored by the Westerville Public Library and the Friends of the Otterbein University Courtright Memorial Library. It's a free to all event and refreshments will be served. Everyone is welcomed.

National Library Week: April 10th-16th

First sponsored in 1958 , National Library Week is a national observance sponsored by the American Library Association and libraries across the country each April.

During the week of April 10th-16th, the Courtright Memorial Library will host programs and activities in honor of National Library Week. Stop by and create your own story at the library!
