A Library Little Theater Production
Love … Or Not!?!?! 

Get in the mood for Valentine’s Day by coming to this whimsical look at love to be performed at the Courtright Memorial Library on Sunday February 10 at 4:00 pm.

The play is directed by Pat Kessler and written by Jim Bailey and Pat Kessler. Starring: Petie Dodrill, Mary Pat Knight, Jim Bailey, Pat Kessler, John Ludlum, Candy Canzoneri, and Carolyn Williams, with Stephen Grinch as Cupid!

All are welcome and encouraged to attend. Refreshments will be served. Sponsored by the Friends of the Otterbein College Courtright Memorial Library. Admission is $10.00 ($5.00 for students).

Vote For An Otterbein Faculty Or Staff Member On A Read Poster


Would you like to see your department featured on a library READ poster?


Enter our short contest to win your department members a chance to appear on a READ poster holding their favorite books. 


Just submit a short essay no more than 300 words on why your department should be featured.  The winning essay will allow that department to be featured on a READ poster which can eventually be hung in the library or home department.  All entries should be submitted by Friday, February 15, 2008 to PReichert@otterbein.edu

AP Images the new interface of the AccuNet/AP Multimedia Archive is available now. Under the photo tab you will find all the images in the photo collection (even historical from 1996 back to the 1800’s). Publicity section is business and public relations photos from the AP. This is a great place to find a photo of a cell phone or a computer hard drive or a company logo. You can also search for a particular type of photograph. The searchable photo types are: portrait, aerial, pattern, silhouette, vertical and horizontal...

Celebrate Black History Month with Encyclopaedia Britannica

In February we will celebrate Black History Month! Britannica's Guide to Black History presents a vast array of articles, hundreds of images, and a wide assortment of multimedia clips.

This guide traces two millennia of black history, and the browse features enable you to pinpoint the central people, places, topics, and events covered in Black History. This Spotlight has biographies on people such as Alvin Ailey, Matthew Henson, Mary McLeod Bethune, and Hank Aaron. In addition, there is a subject browse that allows the user to look up people, places, issues, and events based on topic.

Food Drive

Alpha Lambda Delta Honorary Society is sponsoring a toiletry and non-perishable food drive from February 1 – February 29 to support Westerville Area Resource Ministry (WARM). 

Donate your canned food or toiletry items to this worthwhile cause.  Boxes are available in the Campus Center, Library, Roush and Towers.
