Your professors may decide to put some of the materials they want you to use on Course Reserve. This might be a book, article, video, musical recording, etc.  Reserve materials may be checked out for 2 hours (these may not leave the library), or 1, 3, or 7 days.

Public Libraries use the term Reserves for putting a item on hold for you. However, we use the term Reserves to indicate that it is  something an entire class is using and therefore, needs a shorter check-out period.

You need your Cardinal Card or Driver's License to check out any item which has been placed on Reserve, even if you are only planning on keeping it a short time.

If you have need an item from the reserve shelf, visit the circulation desk and ask them for help.
