Celebrating Dr. Krendl

As Dr. Kathy Krendl wraps up her tenure as the 20th president of Otterbein University, she continues to put students first. Keeping Otterbein affordable has been a tenant of her presidency because as she has said, "big opportunities should never mean big debt."

The fulfillment of this promise is made possible in part by contributions to The Otterbein FUND, which Dr. Krendl and her husband, Richard Gilbert, have annually supported since joining the Otterbein community. The FUND touches upon 5 key areas of impact – Strategic Priorities, Academic Excellence, Student Experience, Scholarships, and Caring for our Campus.

Dr. Krendl’s kindness and compassion are evident not only in her support of Otterbein, but also in the countless interactions she shared with our community - including the moments she has shared with YOU. As a tribute to her leadership, share your own photos and stories with Dr. Krendl using the hashtag #CelebrateKrendl, and make your gift to The Otterbein FUND today. (All gifts made to the FUND from now until June 30 will be dedicated in honor of Dr. Krendl to celebrate her legacy.)
