Jacqueline Ritchie Pletz ’51 died May 18, 2021. Born June 26, 1929 in Madison, WI, she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Marlita Loge Ritchie. Jacqueline was a graduate of Otterbein University in Westerville, Ohio. She was part of the Tau Delta (Deltas) sorority.
Jacqueline worked as a chemist for the Department of Transportation. She was an active member of Susquehanna Evangelical Free Church and Eastern Star. She enjoyed photography, reading novels, knitting circle and card club.
Surviving are her children, Robin and Mary Pletz; Barbara and Thomas McGarvey; Richard and Tricia Pletz; Craig and Patricia Pletz and Brian Scott Pletz; 12 grandchildren; Ashley, Tyler, Shawna, Tiffany, Michael, Ryan, Cody, Hailey, Hadleigh, Jessica, Kevin, and Crystal; 8 great grandchildren; Isobel, Cooper, Andrew, Calvin, Gavin, Remi, Allura, and Bly; brother, Robert Ritchie and sister, Shirley Constanza.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Pletz ’51 and grandsons, Anthony McGarvey and Matthew Pletz .
