Roberta “Bunny” Plank Markworth ’60 died October 27, 2021. She was born May 3, 1938, in Ashland, OH to the late Carl and Rosemon (McCuen) Plank. Bunny graduated from Ashland High School in 1956 and then Otterbein College in 1960 with degrees in Psychology and Sociology, as well as memberships in Choir and Tau Epsilon Mu (Talisman) sorority. She had worked as a kindergarten teacher at Birmingham and Brownhelm Schools in Firelands and as a preschool teacher at Harbourtown Nursery School in Vermilion. Bunny also worked at Hart’s Corner Drug Store, the Linwood gate, and Miller’s Apple Hill. Bunny was a member of the Vermilion Archival Society and the Brownhelm Historical Society.

She was preceded in death by her husband John and her brother Douglas. Bunny is survived by her brothers Gregory (Kristie) and Timothy (Becky); sister-in-law Sharon ’66; daughters Laurie Kincer and Leslie Markworth; and grandchildren Paige (Vincent Eterlet) and Reed von Mehren and Rhea, Maeve, and Treva Pawlowski.
