Beth Ann Hassenpflug Mansperger, Class of 1979

Beth Ann Hassenpflug Mansperger ‘79 died January 29th, 2023. She was born in Westerville, OH to Earl and Joy Hassenpflug.

After graduating of Westerville South High School, Beth Ann attended Otterbein University. During her time at Otterbein, she received her BA majoring in French. She was also active in the community at Otterbein, where she was a part of Campus Crusade for Christ, Tau Delta, and Phi Sigma Iota.
She went on to attended Ohio University and Ashland Theological Seminary. She was ordained an Elder in the East Ohio Methodist Church and was a former pastor at, Old Washington, Old Peoli, and Marion Salem United Methodist Churches.

Beth Ann is survived by her husband, David Mansperger, mother Joy Hassenpflug ‘49, sister Jane Johnson ‘86, brother, Eric ‘89 and sister-in-law Jacqueline Pietila ’89 Hassenpflug, sister Amy ‘94 (Dan Petric) Hassenpflug,and cousin Jack Mehl ’72, one niece, and three nephews. Beth was preceded in death by her first husband H. Gilbert Stillwagon, her father Earl and uncle Roland Mehl’49.
