Frank Murphy, Class of 1963

Frank Murphy ’64 died Jan. 31, 2022.  His early career was teaching Spanish at Gahanna Lincoln (OH) High School and later worked as a project coordinator for the design, construction and finance of major capital improvements for the Austin E. Knowlton Co. In 2007, he founded University Housing Solutions developing excellent student housing for colleges and universities nationwide.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Paula; brother, Patrick; and sister, Marilyn Eichenlaub.  He is survived by children, Mitchell (Amy), Mikel (Doug) Wollenburg and Brian (Stephanie) Weddle; and six grandchildren.
