Loren D. Reynolds, Class of 1961

Loren D. Reynolds ’61 died Oct. 6, 2018. He was born Nov. 11, 1938 in Centerburg, Ohio. Graduated from Centerburg High School and Otterbein College where he was a member of Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity (Country Club), the football team, and “O” Club. After college he joined the U.S. Air Force and he and his wife, Janet, spent time in Japan. He then joined Columbus Life Insurance Co. and retired after 30 years as Vice President of Operations.
Loren is preceded in death by his parents, Loren William and Charlotte (Hunt) Reynolds; brothers, Robert, Donald and Daniel; mother‐in‐law and father‐in‐law, Raymond and Ruth (Neff) Lust. He is survived by his wife of 55 years (50 years in their current home), Janet (Lust); daughters, Natalie (Tom) Haidet and Nicole (Mick) Groom; grandchildren, Andrew, Alyssa and Austin Haidet; step‐grandchildren, Zack and Samantha Groom.
