Alan Biddle ’63 did Jan. 15, 2022. George was born April 21, 1940, in Lancaster, Ohio, to the late Homer Glenn and Alberta Eilzabeth (Veidt) Biddle. Alan graduated from high school in Jackson, Ohio and earned a degree from Otterbein College in 1963 where he was a member of Lambda Gamma Epsilon (Kings) fraternity. He spent thirty-one years working in industrial engineering support of Eli Lilly & Company’s pharmaceutical, agricultural, cosmetic, and medical device businesses. His last eleven years with the company were spent as an internal consultant focusing primarily on the medical devices and diagnostic division’s nine companies. Alan was a member of Lilly’s start-up teams for Lilly’s regional distribution centers.
Alan was preceded in death by a sister, Sandra Ashcraft. Survivors include his wife, Sharon; children, Richard (Lynne) Biddle, Robert Biddle, and Alanna (Drew) Crafton; grandchildren, Justin Biddle, Michael Biddle, Sarah Gooden, Katie Biddle, and Joshua Biddle; great grandchildren, Jonah, Levi, Benjamin, Samuel, Myla, and Emmy.
