John Cook ’36 died March 5, 2016. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving as a medical officer in the Pacific during World War II. He practiced as a physician and surgeon at VA hospitals in Indiana and West Virginia, Oak Hill Hospital in Jackson, OH, and served as Jackson County Coroner. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Nadine in 1978; second wife, Donna in 1993; and seven siblings including brother, Thomas Cook ’39. He is survived by two sons, including Charles Cook ’64; eight grandchildren, including, John Christopher Cook ’91; and 12 great-grandchildren.
