Jon McClintock, Class of 1988

Jon McClintock ’88 died February 27, 2023. He was born in Wooster, Ohio to the late Charles and Lorna McClintock (née Hoare) on September 20, 1956.

After graduating from high school in Wooster, Jon graduated from Otterbein with a BA in Computer Science. He worked a number of different jobs before focusing on programming and taking a position at Otterbein University. Jon worked at Otterbein holding different positions within the IT department for over three decades, before retiring in 2021.

Jon was an avid reader, who enjoyed games, camping, gardening and spending time with family.

Jon is survived by his wife Heather (who then passed away May 17, 2023), children Nichole ’05 (Matthew ’05) Edwards, Alexander McClintock and Andrew McClintock, his brother Mark and his nephews Nicolas and Thomas.
