Nancy Whipp Grimm, Class of 1958

Nancy Whipp Grimm ’58 died Nov. 20, 2020. Born Jan. 5, 1937 to the late Robert ’31 and Ruth ’64 Whipp. Nancy’s father worked for Otterbein College in Public Relations, in the basement of Lambert Hall, and her mother taught in the Westerville School System, teaching 5th grade for over 30 years while earning her degree.

Growing up in Westerville, Nancy attended many of the concerts and programs at the college, took music lessons in Lambert Hall, and played in the Otterbein/Community Orchestra for a few years before graduating from high school, continuing to play in the orchestra and the band when she attended Otterbein.

Alumni relatives include husband Don Grimm ’61, brother James Whipp ’56, and daughter Denise Grimm’84.
