Roger Bell, Class of 1959

Roger A. Bell ’59 died on Feb. 27, 2016. He was a Professor Emeritus of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at University of Louisville. He published over 300 presentations, articles, journals, chapters, and books and was a pioneer in the fields of hostage negotiation and workplace violence. He was a member of Zeta Phi. He is preceded in death by two siblings Richard A. Bell ’56 and Sharon Bell Pieper ’65. He is survived by two siblings, including Roderick L. Bell ’65; two step-siblings, including Marla Kay Kuhlman ’88; three children and five grandchildren.
