Learn more about STEM Programs at Otterbein:

*There is no “pre-med” major. Students can select a major of their interest and attend professional school (medical, dental, veterinary, etc.) with prerequisite course work. Students interested in being a physical therapist, occupational therapist, or physician assistant should consider Allied Health.

Otterbein has prepared me academically for the rigor of medical school.

MEET ONE OF OUR STEM MAJORS

      Quote 300x241 1

Doing research so early on in my college career solidified that I want to work in a lab environment. Having that experience was what allowed me to get my internship at the company that I now work at full time. Working in an R&D lab, in addition to technical knowledge, requires multi-tasking, time management, collaborating with others and more.

I learned all of these things in labs while I was at Otterbein. It made moving into a professional lab environment less intimidating. Otterbein has many opportunities for students to get involved and I believe it makes them stand apart from others.
