Class of 1971 Support for Otterbein

Celebrate 50 Years By Giving Back!
It’s hard to believe that it has been 50 years since you attended Otterbein. As part of your annual support and in celebration of this milestone, we hope you will join us in making a meaningful impact at Otterbein. The Class of 1971 legacy gift will support the Promise House and the Otterbein Community Garden.

The Promise House is Otterbein’s on-campus resource center and food pantry. Its mission is to break down socioeconomic barriers to success for students. The Promise House provides students with food, financial wellness information, school supplies, toiletries, mini-grants, and referrals. Learn more about the Promise House from a recent Inside the Nest video.

The purpose of the Otterbein Community Garden is to enrich the Otterbein and Westerville communities by providing hunger relief efforts through the Give Back Garden mission, in which all plots donate some produce to local food pantries; to provide an innovative study and research site for Otterbein students, faculty, staff, and community partners; and to provide a living landscape to bring together inter-generational groups to help provide an environmental gateway for sustainability initiatives. Learn more about the Otterbein Community Garden via the Facebook page.

We hope you will join us in making a meaningful impact on Otterbein and its students through our Class of 1971 legacy gift!
