Game Night on September 7th
Posted Aug 30, 2023
The library will be hosting a board game night on September 7th on the second floor of the library. It will run from 6p-8p and pizza will be served. Game Nights are a great opportunity to make new friends and hang out with old ones. This is a drop-in-as-able event, so if you can’t be there right at the beginning, don’t worry! You can stop by when you have time. We will be here!
The majority of the game collection will be brought up on the second floor. If you see a game you want to play but don’t know how to play it, that’s okay – a staff member can help you get started. There will be lots of classics to play as well, including favorites like Uno, Life, and Clue.
The library has over 75 board games available to checkout, ranging from classics like Monopoly and Clue to modern board games like Azul and Wingspan. They also have lots of video games and several TTRPG systems. There is something for everyone! The library has put together a helpful Libguide that organizes the board games into their difficulty level, but it also includes the average playtime for each game and how many players the game can play so that you can make a swift selection of what you want to play. If any game is of interest to you but you can’t make the Game Night, the library is also willing to set up a time with you to teach you the game by contacting Kirsten (peninger@otterbein.edu).
