During my internship I was able to gain hands-on experience in the field of marine biology by collecting data for Ph.D research projects. I was able to participate in projects such as great white shark population studies, dolphin tracking and intertidal zone species surveys. Being able to work on these projects during my time as an undergraduate student has given me an inside look into the professional world I’m about to enter.
