As a marketing intern at Stryker, I was tasked with demonstrating products for coworkers and customers and educating them about product features and benefits. I also assisted with a new product launch through the creation of customer-facing market literature and internal sales tools. My general responsibility was to provide sales support for all of our associates and representatives, much of which required exposure to the field. I was able to learn a lot about the medical device industry, and especially the power of networking and strong relationships.
