Teaching and Mentoring
When you join Physics at otterbein at Otterbein, you will have faculty mentors who will become some of your best cheerleaders and sounding boards, and will help you get out of your comfort zone and develop professionally and personally.
In small classes, you will learn from professors who have developed innovative teaching materials and curricula, as well as being leading scientists in their fields. Teaching in Physics is research-based and dynamic. A distinctive feature of our programs is the Computing Across the Curriculum initiative, in which programming and simulation are incorporated into all core physics courses.
You are also encouraged to work on research projects with faculty members, applying what you learn in the classroom to the creation of new knowledge. (link to research page)
