Lindsay has been a member of the Otterbein coaching staff since 2010. As one of the IHSA coaches, she has helped Otterbein become recognized as a nationally competitive team. Strong placing’s at the National and Zone level has secured Otterbein as a competitive equestrian program.
Lindsay began riding horses at age 9. From the very beginning Lindsay knew she had found her true passion. Lindsay showed through her junior career in the 3 foot & 3 foot 6 divisions. With a focus on the equitation. In 2002 Lindsay graduated college with a degree in Veterinary Technology and had the opportunity to work for Dr. Bill Patterson, an internationally recognized FEI lameness veterinarian. This experience gave Lindsay valuable foundation in both horse care and preventive maintenance.
Lindsay balances her time at Otterbein with her active show stable, Lindsay Yinger Show Stables. She continually strives to maintain a high level of teaching and training, alongside her own competitive goals. She continues to expand her own experiences by riding and training with the best. She has ridden with top professionals such as Jeff Cook, George Morris, Darren Graziano, Colin Sequia, and Sandy Farrell.
Lindsay assists with the coaching duties of the huntseat team.
